ValetBridge Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how ValetBridge LLC uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the ValetBridge public website (valetbridge.io), hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. It is incorporated by reference into the ValetBridge Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Introduction
This Cookie Policy (“Policy”) explains how ValetBridge LLC (“ValetBridge LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the developer and operator of the ValetBridge platform, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the ValetBridge public website, located at www.valetbridge.io (“Website”), which is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
ValetBridge is a proprietary B2B SaaS middleware integration platform owned and operated by ValetBridge LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, with its principal place of business at 13873 Park Center Rd, STE 55G, Herndon, Virginia 20171, United States of America. ValetBridge LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of ekSource Technologies, Inc., a Georgia corporation. This Policy is incorporated by reference into and should be read together with the ValetBridge Privacy Policy v1.3 and Terms of Use v1.2, both available at www.valetbridge.io.
This Policy is designed to be transparent and accurate. We describe only the cookies and technologies that are actually present on the Website as of the Effective Date. When we add new tools, analytics platforms, or third-party services that introduce additional cookies, we will update this Policy before or at the time those technologies are deployed.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, to remember your preferences, and to provide website operators with information about how their site is being used. Cookies are not programs and cannot execute code. They cannot carry viruses, install malware, or access other files on your device.
In addition to traditional cookies, websites may use similar tracking technologies:
Cookie Categories
Industry-standard cookie classification frameworks organize cookies into four categories. ValetBridge LLC uses cookies in two of these categories:
Cookies Currently Used on the ValetBridge Website
The following tables set out the cookies in use on the ValetBridge Website as of the Effective Date. ValetBridge LLC conducts periodic cookie audits to keep this list current. Cookie names and durations set by third-party providers are determined by those providers and may change without notice to us.
| Cookie Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Set By |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _GRECAPTCHA | Strictly Necessary | Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise. Distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic in order to protect the Contact Form and Demo Request Form from spam and abuse. The reCAPTCHA script is loaded across the Website, not only on form pages. | Approximately 6 months | Google LLC (google.com) |
| No functional cookies are currently set on the ValetBridge Website. The embedded AI documentation assistant provided by GuideLayer does not set cookies on visitor devices. |
| Cookie Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Set By |

| _ga | Analytics | Google Analytics 4. Assigns a persistent identifier used to distinguish returning visitors. | 2 years | Google LLC, set as a first-party cookie on valetbridge.io |
| _ga_FXKS4V1DTS | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 session state for the associated property. | 2 years | Google LLC, set as a first-party cookie on valetbridge.io |
| _ga_FK5V6EJDJ3 | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 session state for the associated property. | 2 years | Google LLC, set as a first-party cookie on valetbridge.io |
| _clck | Analytics | Microsoft Clarity. Assigns a persistent identifier used to associate a visitor with their recorded interactions. | 1 year | Microsoft Corporation, set as a first-party cookie on valetbridge.io |
| _clsk | Analytics | Microsoft Clarity. Groups a visitor's page views within a single session. | 1 day | Microsoft Corporation, set as a first-party cookie on valetbridge.io |
| No advertising or targeting cookies are deployed on the ValetBridge Website. ValetBridge LLC does not work with advertising networks and does not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. |
AWS Infrastructure and Server-Side Data
The ValetBridge Website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including Amazon S3 for static content delivery and Amazon CloudFront as a content delivery network (CDN). It is important to understand the distinction between cookies and server-side data collection.
- AWS S3 and CloudFront do not independently set cookies on visitor devices. Any cookies present on the Website are set by ValetBridge application code or by the third-party technologies described in Section 6, not by AWS infrastructure itself.
- AWS server logs automatically record technical information about each request: IP address, request timestamp, HTTP method, URL path, HTTP response code, and bytes transferred. This is a server-side process distinct from cookie-based tracking and is governed by the ValetBridge Privacy Policy.
- Amazon CloudFront may set its own cookies solely for the purpose of routing requests to the appropriate CDN edge location and for certain CloudFront security features. Any such CloudFront-set cookies are strictly technical, contain no PII, and are subject to Amazon Web Services' own privacy practices at aws.amazon.com/privacy.
Analytics and Third-Party Technologies in Use
The ValetBridge Website uses the following third-party technologies. Each is loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-5344GBMD) or embedded directly in the Website.
- Google Analytics 4. Two Google Analytics 4 properties are configured, which collect page view, session, traffic source, device, and approximate geographic information in order to help ValetBridge LLC understand how the Website is used. Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC.
- Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity records page interactions, including clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and produces aggregated heatmaps and reconstructed session recordings. This helps ValetBridge LLC identify usability problems on the Website. Clarity data is processed by Microsoft Corporation.
- Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise. Used to protect the Contact Form and Demo Request Form against automated abuse. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- GuideLayer. A third-party AI documentation assistant embedded on the Website. Interactions with the assistant are processed by GuideLayer. GuideLayer does not set cookies on visitor devices.
- Google Tag Manager. A tag management container used to load the technologies above. Google Tag Manager does not itself set cookies on visitor devices.
Planned Improvements
ValetBridge LLC is implementing the following controls. This Policy will be updated when each is in place.
- A cookie consent banner with category-level accept and decline controls, applied to analytics and session analysis cookies
- Google Consent Mode configuration so that analytics tags do not fire before a visitor has accepted
- Consolidation of the two Google Analytics 4 properties into one
- An express opt-in consent mechanism for visitors in Quebec, consistent with Law 25
Cookie Consent and Legal Basis
7.1 Applicable Legal Frameworks
7.2 Strictly Necessary Cookies: No Consent Required
Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent under applicable U.S. and Canadian privacy law because they are essential to delivering the Website functionality you have requested. These cookies cannot be disabled without impairing Website functionality, including the ability to submit the Contact Form and Demo Request Form.
7.3 Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies are currently enabled by default. They collect information about how visitors use the Website and, in the case of Microsoft Clarity, record page interactions. They are not used for advertising, cross-context behavioral profiling, or sale of personal data. You may disable these cookies through your browser settings as described in Section 8, without losing access to core Website functionality.
7.4 Cookie Consent Banner
Non-essential cookies, specifically the analytics and session analysis cookies described in Section 6, are currently set on page load. A cookie consent banner with category-level accept and decline controls has not yet been implemented. ValetBridge LLC is implementing one, together with Google Consent Mode configuration so that analytics tags do not fire before a visitor has accepted. Until that is in place, visitors may control these cookies through the browser settings described in Section 8. This Policy will be updated when the consent banner is deployed.
How to Control and Manage Cookies
All modern web browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies will impair the functionality of the ValetBridge Website, including the ability to submit the Contact Form and Demo Request Form.
8.1 Browser Settings: Cookie Management Instructions
8.2 Browser Storage (Session & Local Storage)
In addition to cookies, the Website may use browser session storage or local storage for functional purposes such as temporarily retaining form field data. You can clear session storage and local storage through your browser's developer tools or privacy settings. Clearing these will not affect core Website functionality.
8.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal to websites. As of the Effective Date, there is no universally agreed standard for how websites must respond to DNT signals, and ValetBridge LLC does not currently alter its cookie practices in response to DNT signals. ValetBridge LLC will review DNT signal handling in light of applicable law and industry standards as part of the consent work described in Section 6.
8.4 Opt-Out from Analytics
You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Microsoft Clarity does not offer a dedicated opt-out add-on; Clarity cookies can be blocked or cleared through the browser settings described in Section 8.1. Once the cookie consent banner described in Section 6 is deployed, you will be able to decline analytics and session analysis cookies directly on the Website.
Cookies and the ValetBridge Administrative Portal
The cookie practices described in this Policy apply to the ValetBridge public website (valetbridge.io). The ValetBridge administrative portal, accessible only to registered Operators and their Authorized Users following authentication, may use additional cookies and browser storage mechanisms to support portal functionality, including:
- Authentication session cookies, which maintain the Authorized User's logged-in state during an active portal session and are deleted when the user logs out or the session expires
- Security cookies, including CSRF protection tokens and session binding tokens, strictly necessary for the security of the authenticated portal environment
- Preference cookies, which may retain portal UI preferences selected by the Authorized User, such as column display settings or dashboard layout choices
Updates to This Cookie Policy
ValetBridge LLC reviews and updates this Cookie Policy under the following circumstances:
- Whenever a new cookie, tracking technology, or analytics tool is introduced on the Website, updated before or at the time of introduction
- Whenever an existing cookie is modified, renamed, or removed
- At minimum annually, as part of ValetBridge LLC's regular privacy program review cycle
- Whenever required by changes in applicable law or regulatory guidance
The “Last Reviewed” date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent review. Material changes, including the introduction of analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies, will be communicated via a prominent notice on the Website prior to the change taking effect.
